Services

Family Doctor: provides care for the entire family. They provide services for physical and emotional aspects of patients and their patient's family. They develop relationships with those they care for along with their families, and guide them in the decision making process they face.

Internal Medicine: dedicated to the prevention and treatment of adult medical conditions.

Geriatrics: provides care to older adults in special ways according to their individual needs.

Pulmonology: specifically concentrates on lung and bronchial tubes which can broaden out to the upper respiratory tract and heart. Pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, and emphysema are examples of pulmonary conditions.

Rheumatology: specifically concentrates on joint, muscle, and bone conditions.

Osteoporosis: develops over an extended period of time. Over that time bone thin and become more porous. Causes include low calcium intake, family history, estrogen loss, intestinal disorders, etc.

Arthritis: the body's joints become damaged as a result of multiple conditions. For those over 55 arthritis is a leading cause of disability.

Arthroscopy: surgical procedure in which an arthroscope is used to examine and sometimes treat interior joint damage. The arthroscope is inserted in one small incision and the surgical instrument is insert through a second. This procedure decreases recovery time because there is only two small incisions and the joint does not need to be fully opened.

Orthopedic Surgery: performed to repair parts of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons usually specialize in a specific area of the system.

Immunotherapy: use multiple strategies of treatment based on the concept of modulating the immune system to fulfill a prophylactic or therapeutic goal.

Fibromyalgia: characterized by diffuse or specific muscle, joint, or bone pain, fatigue, and a wide range of other symptoms, is a chronic syndrome. Recent studies suggest that those with fibromyalgia were genetically predisposed, usually diagnosed when one is between 20 and 50 years old.

Rheumatologist: specialized internist or pediatrician that have studied extensively in the area of diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other various diseases of the joints, muscles, and bones. Rheumatologists work with patients who have arthritis, osteoporosis

Internists: practice internal medicine. They are trained to work with adult patients. Internists treat and diagnose adult diseases. At times, they may act as a primary care physician.
